Founded in 2014 by Owner and Executive Producer Rikki Choy—a global producer and documentary director—Simlight leverages worldwide talent and resources to produce compelling, original stories for clients across the globe.

Rikki Choy is an accomplished director and producer based in Hong Kong, with a strong international presence. Her documentary feature film premiered at the Hong Kong International Film Festival and has been distributed by Edko Films in Hong Kong Broadway cinemas.
Rikki began her filmmaking journey while studying advertising at university. After earning her master's degree in Communication and New Media in 2016, she dedicated herself fully to the art of filmmaking. Her primary focus is on documentaries and commercials, but she also works on feature films, art films, and music videos.
Her works have been showcased at prestigious international documentary festivals, including the Munich International Film Festival, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, Busan International Film Festival, the New Zealand International Film Festival, and the Golden Melody Awards, among others.
