由蔡瑞琦rikkichoy執導的紀錄電影《早鳥 Never Too Late 》入選第49屆香港國際電影節，於2025年4月12日在位於西九龍的Premiere Elements影院舉行世界首映。並簽約安樂電影公司，將於2025年秋季正式登陸香港院線。 影片由鳳凰衛視出品，Simlight Production製作，得到世界自然基金會及香港環境局大力支持，生動講述了四位主角與香港自然的深度關係。 『香港作家葉曉文住進荔枝窩一邊寫作一邊實踐農耕生活，生態攝影師馮漢城發起瘰螈藝術展喚起公眾關注本地生態，藝人暨潛水教練余曉彤投身海洋保育工作，任職地產公司的蔡逸俊以水彩畫筆記下我城雀鳥之美。四個香港人，面對各自人生難題時，不約而同都選擇與大自然連結，走出白鴿籠，感受野外世界的明淨。一方面尋求人與自然共生，一方面卻也目睹兩者的衝突，以及人類發展對自然生態的破壞。反思及拯救是否已經太晚？在美好景物消失前，我們還有什麼可做？』 The documentary film "Never Too Late" (早鳥), directed by Rikki Choy (蔡瑞琦), has been selected for the 49th Hong Kong International Film Festival, and had its world premiere on April 12, 2025, at Premiere Elements cinema in West Kowloon. The film has been acquired by Edko Films and is scheduled for release in Hong Kong cinemas in Autumn 2025. Prenseted by Phoenix TV, and produced by Simlight Production, with strong support from WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) and the Environment Bureau of Hong Kong, the film vividly portrays the profound relationship between four protagonists and Hong Kong's nature. "Hong Kong writer Human Ip lives in Lai Chi Wo, balancing writing with a farming lifestyle. Ecological photographer Fung Han Shing initiated an art exhibition on the Hong Kong Newt to raise public awareness about local ecology. Actress and diving coach Hidy Yu dedicates herself to marine conservation. Real estate professional Anthony Choy uses watercolours to document the beauty of our city's birds. Four Hong Kongers, each facing personal challenges, coincidentally choose to connect with nature. They step out of their pigeonhole apartments to experience the clarity of the wild. While seeking human-nature coexistence, they also witness the conflict between the two and the destruction of natural ecosystems by human development. Is it too late for reflection and rescue? Before these beautiful landscapes vanish, what more can we do?"
